The first in a new series of high quality audiophile products from Creek Audio Systems. The 5050 is effectively a "Big Brother" to the well established and highly successful 4040S2 and 4140S2 amplifiers. All three products now have a generic technical similarity. A larger reserve of power and many more facilities, coupled with the sound quality and dynamics which have made Creek products so popular with music lovers and audio enthusiasts alike, make this product the best amplifier in the current Creek range.

The 5050 is the culmination of over 2 years development and research, together with many hours of listening tests. During this period, it became obvious that despite the

advances in electronic technology, when correctly designed, a simple circuit still has superiority over the most exotic discrete and integrated circuit designs in terms of musical quality. Together with very careful attention to power supplies and especially, earthing paths, the 5050 has developed into an amplifier with unsurpassed clarity and ability to resolve fine detail.

Many facilities are to be found in the basic amplifier. Firstly the power amp can be wired in bridged mono, and provision has been made to fit plug-in modules, to further enhance the versatility of the amplifier. These will include active cross-overs and filters.
